Responsibilities
Payroll Management:
- Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
- Maintain and update payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
- Review and reconcile payroll reports for accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Ensure all payroll transactions are processed efficiently.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
- Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and related reports to government agencies.
- Manage year-end processes including W-2 preparation, distribution, and reconciliation.
Personnel Administration:
- Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files and payroll records.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire setup and exit paperwork.
- Manage employee benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and other HR-related matters.
Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
-Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in payroll processing and personnel administration.
-Experience with payroll software and systems, such as ADP, Paychex, or similar platforms.
-Certification in payroll (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is preferred.
