Staffing Specialist

Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Sourcing: Identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions. Use various methods to source candidates, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
  2. Candidate Screening and Selection: Review resumes and applications, conduct initial interviews, and evaluate candidates to ensure they meet the required qualifications and fit the company culture.
  3. Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers. Ensure a smooth interview process for both parties.
  4. Offer Negotiation and Onboarding: Extend job offers to selected candidates, negotiate terms if necessary, and facilitate the onboarding process to integrate new hires into the company.
  5. Employee Retention: Work on strategies to retain employees by addressing concerns, providing career development opportunities, and enhancing job satisfaction.
  6. Compliance and Record Keeping: Ensure that all hiring practices comply with relevant laws and regulations. Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and hiring processes.
  7. Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers and other HR Operations to understand staffing needs and develop strategies to meet them.
  8. Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, salary benchmarks, and best practices in recruitment to attract top talent.
  9. Crate and update JD for new and current colleagues

Educational BackgroundBachelor's Degree: Most positions require a bachelor’s degree in Law, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Certifications (Optional): Certifications such as Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) can be beneficial.ExperienceRecruitment Experience: Experience in recruiting or staffing, whether in-house or with a staffing agency, Industry Knowledge: SkillsCommunication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build relationships and work effectively with a diverse group of people.Organizational Skills: Capability to manage multiple roles, deadlines, and tasks efficiently.Analytical Skills: Ability to assess candidates' skills and fit for positions and to use data to improve recruitment strategies.Negotiation Skills: Experience in negotiating job offers and terms with candidates.Technical SkillsHR Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR software.Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency in tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
