Purpose
The role is diverse and multi-faceted. It encompasses Corporate Finance and Accounting function, also managing the day-to-day administrative operations. Detailed coordination with various leads within the HO is imperative to the success of the role, as manager will be required to provide overall analytical support to help achieve strategic business and financial results.
Key Accountabilities
Managerial Responsibilities
• Manage and ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements, relating to all financial affairs.
• Monitor and prepare budgets, cashflow forecast and expenditure reports and prepare variance analysis.
• Prepare financial statements. Supervise and liaise with external auditors to ensure statutory accounts are prepared and filed with required regulatory authorities.
• Ensure that all the financial transactions are properly accounted for in General Ledger and correct accounting treatment is applied. Ensure accurate translation from Egyptian Accounting Standards to International Accounting Standards
• Responsible for filing monthly VAT returns & Withholding Tax reports.
• Responsible for submittal of Quarterly FDI reports to GAFI (General Authority of Foreign Investors and Free Zones)
• Reconcile E-invoicing platform with manual statutory books, to ensure completeness and accuracy of tax deductibles.
• Prepare and approve all supplier payments.
• Responsible for accurate submission of various social security forms to Social Security authority
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with all Pension & Social Security authority requirements.
• Manage bank relationships through close interactions with banks and other financial institutions to ensure strategic partnership is maintained and optimized.
• Ensure all bank requirements are met, from KYC to ongoing credit reviews.
• Support Treasury Director in managing excess cash with local banks by coordinating with banks and legal counsel.
• Solicit, negotiate, and coordinate execution of all company’s agreements which include consulting, operational and administrative agreements. Ensure cost optimization by ensuring competitive bids are obtained.
• Review commercial agreements and confirm commercial terms.
• Support strategic business decision making through financial analysis including ad hoc modeling and reporting. Other Core Responsibilities
• Work closely with legal team on all required matters and coordinate with local legal counsel • Ensure all statutory documents are renewed and updated.
• Deal with authorities and service providers on both financial and administrative fronts.
• Supervise IT support provider.
• Manage logistics and administration matters for the company.
• Ensure general management of administrative contracts with suppliers/vendors, office operation expenses,
• Ensure the implementation and adherence to the Group policies, particularly on governance, compliance, and ethics
Key job requirements
- 5 years of experience in finance or administration
- self starter and has the ability to work alone
- working knowledge in legal and financial requirements in Egypt
