Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the accounting department, ensuring accuracy in financial records.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets in line with company policies and accounting standards.
- Manage the cost accounting process, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Handle all aspects of import and export accounting, including cost analysis and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with the Tax Authority and manage tax-related activities, ensuring compliance with local laws.
- Collaborate with the legal office to ensure proper documentation and adherence to tax regulations.
- Monitor and control company expenditures, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Provide leadership and support to the accounting team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Chief Accountant in the manufacturing and industrial sectors but 10 years at least as overall experienceExtensive experience in import and export operations, including import procedures and cost analysis.Strong knowledge of accounting systems, financial statements, and cost accounting in accordance with the latest accounting standards.Experience in dealing with the Tax Authority and coordinating tax procedures with the legal office.Additional certification (CPA, IFRs or CMA) is a plusMust be a resident of New Cairo or surrounding areas.Male candidates only, aged between 40 and 45 years.Must have solid experience in manufacturing and import companies, and solid experience in financial statements with latest accounting standardsFinancial managers can apply according to age requirements.
