We are seeking a highly skilled Road Design Manager to lead the preliminary and detailed design of road and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing tender documents, designing horizontal and vertical alignments, cross-sections, intersections, and interchanges, as well as managing super elevations for horizontal curves. This role includes calculating cut and fill volumes , attending meetings, and preparing cost estimates to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the design activities for large, complex projects and multiple smaller projects.
• Oversee preliminary and detailed designs, including horizontal and vertical alignments, cross-section details, intersections, interchanges, and superelevations for horizontal curves.
• Prepare tender documents, calculate cut and fill volumes, conduct site visits, and provide accurate cost estimates.
• Assign projects and tasks to a team of engineers, designers, and CADD draftsmen with varying levels of experience.
• Develop manpower forecasts and manage the hiring and training of engineering staff.
• Administer and execute all project discipline agreements, define the scope of work, and ensure project profitability.
• Develop comprehensive project work plans, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery.
• Identify training needs for team members and implement the department training plan to promote professional development.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant design standards, regulations, and quality control procedures.
