Technical Office Engineer

• Reviewing the contract documents with each other at the beginning of the project, especially since there is often a conflict between the construction and architectural drawings received by the consultant and trying to match them or correct the error in them. This is a very important step and has caused many disasters later for those who did not pay attention to it.

• Reviewing the priorities of work in the documents and confirming this with official letters from the consultant to be an important paper in the event of disputes, God forbid.

• Making an inventory of the various works item, which is an important step, especially in contracts based on units.
• Making monthly extracts
• Reviewing contracts with comparisons when making extracts. This is an important step because if the work exceeds 100%, it is permissible to request an increase in the price for the excess work
• Making subcontractor extracts and comparison tables between them and the client to avoid any defects and expenses without revenues or transfers in revenues to a different fiscal year. This point is where some companies manipulate
• Making a monthly report that clarifies the executive position of the work progress
• Following up and making a list of the results of examining material samples and approving them by the consultant
• Making the project schedule


A Bachelor’s degree of architecture /or civil engineering (with 5-7 years of experience in technical office).Computer proficiency: AutoCAD, Word and Excel are a must. REVIT is an asset.Professional English language.Proven experience with technical drawings and details.Extensive knowledge of preparing BOQs (in both Arabic & English languages) including quantity survey.Strong technical knowledge of structure & electro-mechanical design concepts and strong coordination skills.Knowledge of design standards, local codes and government regulations.Possession of great work ethics, high degree of integrity and willingness to put in the hours whenever needed.High organization skills and ability to prioritize & concurrently service multiple projects.Ability to manage own time.Critical thinking, using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.A good eye for details.Ability to work & perform under pressure.Interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and other team members.
