Senior Sales Engineer

Our client is one of the leading contemporary design materials providers in Egypt, they are looking for 
The Senior Sales Architect/Engineer will be responsible for leading sales efforts within the retail segment & designers for finishing materials . This role requires a deep understanding of both the technical aspects of finishing materials and the retail market, including customer needs, industry trends, and competitive positioning. The individual will collaborate with clients, architects, designers, and internal teams to deliver customized solutions that meet project specifications and contribute to the company’s sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities: 


- Sales Strategy & Execution:
 - Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the retail segment.
 - Identify and engage key retail partners, builders, and contractors to grow business opportunities.
 - Lead sales presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations with potential clients.

- Technical Expertise:
 - Provide expert knowledge on finishing materials, including product specifications, installation methods, and compliance with industry standards.
 - Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to design and specify appropriate finishing solutions for various projects.
 - Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to finishing materials.

- Client Relationship Management:
 - Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners in the retail sector.
 - Act as the main point of contact for all technical and commercial inquiries from clients.
 - Ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and timely delivery of solutions.

- Project Management:
 - Oversee the end-to-end process of sales projects, from initial inquiry to final delivery and installation.
 - Coordinate with internal teams, including design, procurement, and logistics, to ensure seamless execution of projects.
 - Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

- Training & Mentorship:
 - Mentor and provide guidance to junior sales staff and engineers within the department.
 - Conduct training sessions for internal teams and retail partners on product knowledge and sales techniques.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 -7 years of experience in sales or engineering, with a focus on finishing materials for retail or construction projects.


- Skills:
 - Strong knowledge of finishing materials (e.g., tiles, laminates, hardwoods, etc.) and their applications in retail environments.


 - Excellent sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
 - Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
 - Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
 - Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools is a plus.
 - Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
