* Oversee lesson plans for the daily program for children within the assigned age groups with the class teacher and teaching team. Ensure that the plans will encourage each child's development in the areas identified in the annual plan, namely emotional, social, cognitive and physical development.
• Establishing and maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment, and prevention of physical and psychological injuries.
• Dealing with emergencies, accidents and injuries appropriately when they occur.
• Ensure that each class teaching team helps children learn in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of the company and the Centre:
o Treat each child with dignity and respect.
o Identify and consider the background, special needs or talents, interests, style and learning pace of each child.
o Help children learn to think creatively, solve problems independently, and respect themselves and others.
• Observe the arrangement, decoration, and learning environment of the classroom, bearing in mind that the work done by children should take precedence over decorations made by adults.
• Monitor, record and report any significant individual or group behaviour that may affect children.
• Holding training courses and meetings for employees as needed to raise the level of teaching and development in his department to the approved quality level.
• Training, training and development of potential department supervisors on supervisory and leadership tasks in the Education Department in addition to managing their performance and progress.
• Planning to hold meetings with parents of children to discuss and solve any problem.
• Stay informed of each child's development, background and needs.
• Promote and maintain good relationship and working relationships with other employees. Maintain professional conduct in working with parents and staff, as well as visitors and the general public.
• Conducting new hiring directives, including a center tour and employee introductions, as well as training new employees on applicable childcare regulations, curriculum, and company policies and procedures.
• Performing any class duties required by the Center Director and/or Education Supervisor as well as replacing teachers in classes for any time periods.
• Perform other duties requested by the "Center Manager" and/or "Education Supervisor" as well as replace them if necessary. May perform administrative, financial or operational tasks as required.
