- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Conduct job costing analysis to track project expenses and profitability.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Collaborate with project managers and other departments to monitor project budgets and financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare reports and present findings to senior management.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in the Engineering construction industry.Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles, including job costing and percentage-of-completion accounting.Proficiency in accounting softwareExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
