- Security Management:
- Develop and enforce security standards, policies, and procedures to safeguard organizational
assets and individuals.
- Plan, direct, and coordinate security operations to protect assets, employees, and students.
Implement and evaluate policies to protect personnel from harassment, threats, and
violence.
- Communicate security status, updates, and issues according to established protocols. - Health and Safety Management:
- Develop and manage environmental health and safety protocols.
- Oversee the operation of university clinic and ensure the effective delivery of medical
services.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive emergency response plans in collaboration with
internal departments.
- Oversee safety regulations and protocols for labs and research facilities, ensuring compliance
with relevant standards and regulations to protect staff and ensure safe research
environments.
- Conduct testing and evaluations of emergency management plans according to regulations.
- Collaborate on damage assessments following emergencies and recommend updates to
-response procedures based on regulatory, technological, or situational insights. - Government and Legislative Coordination:
- Establish and sustain relationships with government officials.
- Support legislative processes operationally and ensure adherence to public policies and
objectives.
- Collaborate with departments to facilitate any governmental processes.
Candidates should be under the age of 50. Knowledge: In-depth understanding of security management, emergencyresponse procedures, environmental health and safety regulations, and healthcareadministration. Familiarity with lab and research facility safety standards. Skills: Proven leadership and organizational skills, strong communication and interpersonalabilities, and the capacity to manage complex operations and multiple priorities effectively. Abilities: Ability to develop and implement comprehensive safety and security strategies,collaborate across departments and with external agencies, and adapt to changingregulatory environments. Proficiency in policy development and the ability to provide clearguidance on compliance issues. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address Security and HSchallenges. Fluency in both English and Arabic for effective written and verbal communication.Experience working in a multinational or geographically dispersed environment is a plus. Computer literacy and proficiency Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and external agencies.15 to 20 years of experience in security, health, and safety management, with a proven trackrecord in a senior or leadership role.Has 5-7 years in a previous senior / managerial position
