- Supervise on repairs to all possible malfunctions of refrigeration equipment either by maintenance team or dealing directly with manufacturing company of the equipment.
- Supervise and revise the reports related to temperature degrees of stores from refrigerator supervisors and informing the quality team verbally.
- Supervise preventive maintenance schedules for refrigerators and lifting equipment to ensure that these continue to operate at optimum levels according to catalogs of the manufacturing company.
- Deals with certified suppliers and contractors to get suitable proposals for providing required equipment.
- Prepare the budget and send to top management for approvals and ensure that maintenance is carried out within agreed costs.
- Ensure that all documentation and procedures are provided by suppliers and contractors when receiving new equipment.
- Determine the optimum level of spare parts to be held in stock to ensure that availability is maintained at minimum cost.
- Monitor the results of the planned maintenance programs and introduce any required changes where effectiveness needs to be improved.
