Job Title: Automation and Data Integration Manager

Job Summary: The Automation and Data Integration Manager is responsible for overseeing the management, integration, and optimization of all data systems within a factory environment, including ERP, CRM, customized applications, SCADA systems and BI dashboards. This role involves ensuring data accuracy, facilitating seamless communication between different systems, and providing actionable insights to support decision-making and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and administer the ERP system, CRM system, and other customized applications, including configuration, maintenance, and user support.
  2. Manage PLC optimization, SCADA configuration and data historian integration with SCADA systems and 3rd party APIs.
  3. Oversee the integration of data between different systems to ensure a seamless flow of information across the organization.
  4. Design and develop BI dashboards and reports to provide a 360-degree overview of the factory's operations, including production metrics, sales performance, inventory levels, and quality control data.
  5. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize enhancements to data systems and BI dashboards.
  6. Monitor data integrity and quality, implementing processes and controls to address discrepancies or errors.
  7. Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of risk, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
  8. Lead projects to implement new data systems, integrations, or enhancements, coordinating resources and managing timelines.
  9. Provide training and support to end-users on the use of data systems and BI tools, ensuring widespread adoption and proficiency.
  10.  Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data management, integration, and analytics.

 


Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.Previous experience in data management, ERP administration, CRM administration, or business intelligence roles.Previous experience with PLC configurations and integration with SCADA systems, preferably AVEVA.Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Odoo, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics CRM), and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, Dundas BI).Strong understanding of data integration techniques, including ETL processes, APIs, and middleware solutions.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.Project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and coordinate resources.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across functional areas and levels of the organization.Knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and quality control principles is desirable.Experience with database management systems, SQL queries, and data modeling is a plus. Additional Information:The Data Systems Manager plays a critical role in leveraging data and technology to drive operational efficiency, decision-making, and business growth within the factory environment.This role requires a balance of technical expertise, business acumen, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage data systems, facilitate integration, and provide valuable insights to stakeholders.Adaptability and a willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies are essential in this dynamic and evolving field.-Days off: Fridays & Saturdays-Closing Date: 31-08-2024
