Job Summary:
A Sales Engineer is responsible for selling technical products and services to customers. This role involves understanding the technical aspects of the products, explaining them to potential customers, and ensuring that the products meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing and delivering technical presentations to explain products and services to customers.
Collaborating with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
Manage all technical aspects of RFP/RFI response
Securing orders and ensuring product standards are met.
Establishing customer rapport and acceptance.
Planning for modifications to products to meet customer demands.
Helping clients solve problems with product usage.
Recommending new and improved products to customers and explaining how they will be more cost-effective.
Communicating client needs to R&D teams .
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales engineering or a related field.Strong technical knowledge and the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical users.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Strong problem-solving abilities and customer service skills.Ability to work collaboratively with sales and engineering teams.
