- Acts as a primary contact using the appropriate protocols for resolution of any patient concerns and implementing service recovery.
- Assess and resolve disagreements or discrepancies, if any, between the patient/family vs. treating teams vs. payors requirements.
- Serves as primary point of contact for non-clinical care coordination through the continuum of care for patients, families, and referring physicians.
- Coordinates and manages educational/advisory meetings, evaluation tests, and consultations for patients within specified time periods.
- Provides advance notice to patients and referring physicians of required follow-up testing to maintain regulatory compliance and coordinates the required follow-up.
- Works closely with Medical Director and clinical departments to assist international patients.
- Work closely with the hospital’s medical approvals team to resolve any issues related to international medical approvals.
- Works closely with tourism companies to secure hotel accommodations, transportation, and other services within specified time.
- Address complaints from international patients promptly, escalating to the Medical Director and Patients Relation for quick resolution.
