Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary: The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee all maintenance activities within the facility, ensuring that equipment and infrastructure are in optimal working condition to support production and operations. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in maintenance within the food and beverage industry and a strong understanding of safety, regulatory compliance, and preventative maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance Operations:

  • Oversee daily maintenance activities, including repairs, troubleshooting, and installation of machinery and equipment.
  • Ensure that all equipment, including production lines, refrigeration systems, and HVAC, are functioning efficiently and meet operational requirements.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to minimize downtime and production disruption.
  • Responsible for overseeing new openings, including infrastructure, finishes, equipment, and all basic preparations for branches.

Preventative Maintenance:

  • Establish and manage a preventative maintenance program to extend the lifespan of equipment and reduce unexpected failures.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.

Team Supervision & Development:

  • Lead and supervise the maintenance team, ensuring that all work is performed to the highest quality standards.
  • Assign tasks and manage workloads to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.

Safety & Compliance:

  • Ensure that all maintenance activities align with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and relevant health and safety standards.
  • Conduct safety training for the maintenance team and promote a culture of safety within the team.
  • Identify and address potential safety hazards in the facility.

Inventory Management:

  • Manage the inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies necessary for maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of necessary parts and materials.
  • Implement cost-effective measures to manage maintenance budgets while ensuring adequate supplies.

Facility Management:

  • Oversee the maintenance of the physical facility, including plumbing, electrical systems, and building infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations as needed.
  • Ensure that the facility complies with all environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes, reduce costs, and enhance equipment reliability.
  • Implement best practices and new technologies to optimize maintenance operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance activities align with production goals.

Emergency Response:

  • Lead the response to emergency maintenance issues, ensuring quick and effective resolution to minimize impact on operations.
  • Develop and implement contingency plans for critical equipment failures or facility issues.

Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree or certification in maintenance management or a related field is preferred.Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry.Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems relevant to food and beverage operations.Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and safety.Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.Benefits:Competitive salary.Health and social insurance.
