Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, with a focus on HVAC, Firefighting, and Plumbing. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will oversee the design, development, and implementation of MEP systems for a variety of projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards, codes, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee the development of HVAC systems, including load calculations, equipment selection, ductwork design, and air distribution layouts, ensuring energy efficiency, comfort, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- design and implementation of firefighting systems, including fire suppression systems, fire alarms, sprinkler systems, and smoke management systems, ensuring optimal safety and compliance with building codes and NFPA standards.
- design and installation of plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and sewage systems, ensuring functionality, sustainability, and compliance with plumbing codes and regulations.
- Conduct site surveys, feasibility studies, and assessments to gather project requirements, evaluate existing systems, and propose cost-effective solutions that meet client needs and project goals.
- Develop detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for MEP systems, utilizing CAD software and other design tools to communicate design intent and facilitate construction.
- Conduct performance evaluations, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems, ensuring functionality, efficiency, and compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in MEP engineering, participating in professional development activities and seeking opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, vendors, and regulatory authorities, addressing technical queries, facilitating approvals, and ensuring successful project execution from conception to completion.
Bachelor of Mechanical EngineeringMinimum of 2-5 years of experience in MEP engineering, with a focus on HVAC, Firefighting, and Plumbing systems.Knowledge in MEP. Qs.Strong knowledge in Microsoft office applications and also AutoCAD / Revit is a plus.Possess excellent communication and organizational skills.Excellent command of EnglishAttention To DetailsStrong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
