- Communicating with the requester to clarify certain details.
- Following receipt of the quotations/proposals, coordinate with the requester/beneficiary for technical evaluation and proceed with commercial evaluation following technical confirmation.
- Negotiating the deal to ensure the best value acquired; this may including price, payment plan, delivery type, quality, return policy, substitution policy, delay penalty, warranty, guarantees, etc.
- Prepare the Purchase Order with all Terms and Conditions as per the conducted deal.
- Communicating and connecting with the vendor and the market, in general, whether through the phone, meetings, or conferences to track and monitor any new technology.
- Coordinating meetings, tests, piloting, etc. with the requester and the vendor and ensuring the transfer of knowledge and implementation is being held correctly and without any risks to the company.
- Proposing, accommodating, and supporting new initiatives in coordination with the requester/ task force, and the vendor from the other part.
- Following up on the purchase cycle and identify fluctuations in the consumption rates and prepare for any disruption of supply depending to item category.
- Planning and monitoring the market changes to ensure item availability and avoidance of long lead times is crucial for the continuous flow of materials.
Bachelor's degree in the Engineering field, preferably mechanical or electrical.2-4 years of experience in procurement.Familiarity with fundamental engineering principles, including mechanics, electronics, materials science, and thermodynamics. Knowledge of different types of materials used in engineering, such as metals, plastics, composites, and their properties. Keeping up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and innovations in the engineering sector.Excellent Negotiation, Problem Solving and Communication.Very Good command of English language.
