HR Assistant Job Brief - Micro Engineering Group (MEEG)

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated HR Assistant to support our HR department with a variety of administrative tasks.

Role Overview:
The HR Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the HR team by coordinating meetings, maintaining employee records, and posting job advertisements. As an essential liaison between HR and employees, the HR Assistant will facilitate smooth communication and prompt resolution of queries and requests. Additionally, you will assist in the development and implementation of policies, processes, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the daily operations of HR functions and duties.
Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources and Operations Leads/Managers.
Compile and update employee records, both in hard and soft copy formats.
Process documentation and prepare reports related to personnel activities (e.g., staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations).
Coordinate HR projects such as meetings, training sessions, and surveys, and take minutes as required.
Address employee inquiries regarding HR issues, policies, and regulations.
Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (e.g., absences, bonuses, leaves).
Communicate with public services when necessary.
Handle complaints and grievance procedures appropriately.
Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews.
Conduct initial orientation sessions for new hires.
Support recruiters in sourcing candidates and updating the candidate database.


Qualifications and Skills:Proven experience as an HR Assistant, Staff Assistant, or in a relevant human resources/administrative position.Proficient in computer typing skills, particularly with MS Office.Basic knowledge of labor laws.Excellent organizational skills.Strong communication skills.Degree in Human Resources or a related field.Ideal Candidate Profile:The ideal candidate for this HR Assistant position will have excellent organizational abilities, be familiar with HR platforms, and possess strong communication skills. A degree in Human Resources and some experience in the industry are required. You should be able to work independently, remain calm under pressure, and after completing our training sessions, assist HR leads and operations managers throughout the HR lifecycle.Ultimately, you will help ensure our HR department is well-organized and functions efficiently to attract, hire, and retain top talent.
