Head of Stage - Middle and Upper (American International School)

Job Summary: The Head of Stage for Middle and Upper provides strategic leadership for middle and upper school teams, focusing on academic excellence and student success. This role involves managing academic operations, leading curriculum development, and ensuring alignment with Cognia accreditation standards and school goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Support: Manage and guide Middle and Upper stage staff, including performance evaluations and professional growth opportunities.
  • Curriculum & Instruction: Oversee the development and implementation of the curriculum to ensure it meets high academic standards.
  • Operational Management: Handle daily academic operations, including scheduling, resource management, and assessing teaching effectiveness.
  • Accreditation & Standards: Ensure compliance with Cognia accreditation standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with students, parents, and staff to support academic and personal growth.
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources efficiently and oversee the upkeep of academic materials and facilities.

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.Minimum of 4 years of experience in an educational leadership role within an American International School.Familiarity with Cognia accreditation processes is preferred.Proven ability to lead, communicate, and manage effectively.
