Team leader Sales Specialist / solar energy projects

  • The Technical Sales Specialist is a customer facing role involved in the commercial/technical decision-making process of the sales cycle with a focus on identifying/closing large projects and driving incremental specialised product growth at all levels.Possesses specialised Solar product knowledge. Will deliver presentations and product demonstrations to customers and sales representatives. Will also have a continuing role in customer support to address customer issues in the usage of the products.
  • Provide troubleshooting assistance for customer orders, account statuses and relevant problems
  • Provide data and guides to help the sales team
  • Develop and monitor performance indicators
  • Manage sales tracking tools and report on important information
  • Keep record of sales trends
  • Liaise with account managers to develop specific sales strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with new product and feature launches and ensure sales team is on board
  • Review pending orders and specific customers requests to ensure excellent customer service and customer experience
  • Suggest sales process improvements
  • The position will require proposal development, proposal presentation, follow-up communications, contract processing and accurate record keeping.
  • Pursue the sales objectives by focusing on the sale of Residential & industrial Solar systems to prospective clients.
  • Makes sales contacts, research customer needs and provides product and application information; demonstrating technology solutions for customers.
  • Scheduling customer meetings
  • Understands market conditions and competitive forces.
  • Presenting system and financing options to the customer.
  • Developing the sales quote, and closing the sale.
  • Public speaking and presentations.


 


Knowledge of Solar PV Construction industryHigh success in closing B2B saleProficient at reading plans, specifications, drawings and bid documentsOutstanding communication & customer service skillsFamiliarity with photo-voltaic solar design and technical standardsProficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS ExcelIn-depth understanding of sales principles and customer service practicesAnalytical and multitasking skillsTeamwork and motivational skillsGood command of Arabic and English languagesExcellent communication skillsAt least 7 years of experience in similar positionDriving license
