- The Technical Sales Specialist is a customer facing role involved in the commercial/technical decision-making process of the sales cycle with a focus on identifying/closing large projects and driving incremental specialised product growth at all levels.Possesses specialised Solar product knowledge. Will deliver presentations and product demonstrations to customers and sales representatives. Will also have a continuing role in customer support to address customer issues in the usage of the products.
- Provide troubleshooting assistance for customer orders, account statuses and relevant problems
- Provide data and guides to help the sales team
- Develop and monitor performance indicators
- Manage sales tracking tools and report on important information
- Keep record of sales trends
- Liaise with account managers to develop specific sales strategies
- Stay up-to-date with new product and feature launches and ensure sales team is on board
- Review pending orders and specific customers requests to ensure excellent customer service and customer experience
- Suggest sales process improvements
- The position will require proposal development, proposal presentation, follow-up communications, contract processing and accurate record keeping.
- Pursue the sales objectives by focusing on the sale of Residential & industrial Solar systems to prospective clients.
- Makes sales contacts, research customer needs and provides product and application information; demonstrating technology solutions for customers.
