Business Planning & Support Specialist

Role Purpose

  • Control E-SOC Budget, from DB planning cycle to monthly receiving decisions to meet FY technology targets, and management directions.
  • Set clear strategy and guidelines before every submission. 
  • Represent E-SOC for Budget cycles, Interfacing with all SM budget planners, Tech Strategy and Finance (Decision Support, Procurement and warehouse) teams.
  • Identify and act on budget challenges and desired efficiencies.
  • Track Business cases across E-SOC domains, and interfacing with relevant Managers and Decision Support finance team to ensure smooth approval process flow.
  • Responsible for issuing POs, across all E-SOC domains with Supply Chain and all relevant entities to ensure smooth process flow, and timely receiving.
  • Ensure capex receiving targets with all budget planners are met on monthly basis, after aligning with Finance and Tech. strategy teams, to meet budget phasing plan.
  • Represent E-SOC in Business Contingency plans (BCP), responsible to ensure Network continuity in Emergency situations across all E-SOC functions
  • Facilitate all BCP relevant tools required for E-SOC team, and arrange with Strategy team in this scope
  • Manage E-SOC headcount, tracking vacant positions and arrange with HR Business partner for quick and smooth hiring process, to expedite replacements.
     

Key Accountabilities & Decision Ownership

  • Control E-SOC Budget, from DB planning cycle to monthly receiving decisions to meet FY technology targets, and management directions, to meet budget phasing plan.
  • Tracking and reporting expenditure versus outlook plans, to Head of E-SOC, for all relevant Cost Centers, with monthly budget analysis (outlook & closing)
  • Prepare plan B scenario for E-SOC Capex expenditure if needed, act on budget challenges and desired efficiencies   
  • Deliver Accurate DB submission for all E-SOC teams, along with the periodic budget reviews and submissions (online and offline).
  • Identify and Propose and Challenge potential savings across all E-SOC domains, and act on required budget re-allocation.
  • Work closely with the financial departments to reconcile the variance within the E-SOC budget.
  • Track Business cases across E-SOC domains, and interfacing with relevant Managers and Decision Support finance team to ensure smooth approval process flow.
  • Responsible for issuing POs, across all E-SOC domains with Supply Chain and all relevant entities to ensure smooth process flow, and timely receiving.
  • Track & report the unit/service cost & YOY investment. Ensure using fair value & applying vendor discounts.
  • Represent E-SOC in Business Contingency plans (BCP), responsible to ensure Network continuity in Emergency situations across all E-SOC functions
  • Facilitate all BCP relevant tools required for E-SOC team, and arrange with Strategy team in this scope
  • Manage E-SOC headcount, tracking vacant positions and arrange with HR Business partner for quick and smooth hiring process, to expedite replacements.
  • SPOC with HR for E-SOC Outsourced staff and related Business cases.
