We are seeking a talented and motivated Software QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong testing mindset, technical knowledge, and excellent communication skills. As a Software QA Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:
ResponsibilitiesDevelop, document, and execute test cases for software applications, ensuring coverage of business requirements and delivery goals.Detect, document, and report defects and issues in software, collaborating with development teams to resolve them in a timely manner.Participate in meetings and communicate effectively with different stakeholders, including clients, to gather requirements, provide updates, and troubleshoot problems.Prepare test environments, test tools, and test data to be used for test activities.Continuously learn and apply new testing methodologies, tools, and techniquesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Excellent understanding of software testing and defect life-cycle management.Ability to write clear and concise test cases, test plans, and test reports.Ability to write clear, detailed, and reproducible bug reports.Ability to work in agile, fast-paced environment.Knowledge of test management and bug-tracking tools. (Jira/TFS)Knowledge of web and mobile testing methodologies.Knowledge of API testing using Postman.Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
