Transport Planning Sr. Specialist

What you’ll do

Role purpose: 

To Plan, design & implement the needed capacity for the access transmission network infrastructure to optimally support the capacity requirements for the expected voice & data traffic growth including 4G & preparation of 5G using the cost effective transmission solutions on the proper timeframe. Furthermore , to evolve & Modernize the Access Layer including Microwave l& FTTS towards full IP Technology.


Key accountabilities and decision ownership 

1.    Design the needed transmission changes/upgrades to cater the required transport capacities for both Mobile & Enterprise/Fixed networks
2.    Follow up on different RO to ensure implementing the issued changes as planned and on Time
3.    Design reroute solutions for LOS & Offload problems
4.    Material planning for the needed TX upgrades and new Rollout activities
5.    Continuous updating and Data cleansing for Different TX planning tools & DBs

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
-     Education: BSC in Electrical Engineering majoring in   Communication and Electronic Engineering
-     Work Experience: Preferred 4  Years’ Experience in Transmission field focusing on Access Transport.
-     Personal skills: Self-Motivated, Can Work under stress, Team Work Spirit and Initiative, problem solving and decision making

Must have technical / professional qualifications: 
-     Good Knowledge in Microwave wireless communications and Fiber Optics. 
-     Good knowledge of Data analytics and python programming. 
-     CCNA is a plus
