For a growing health & fitness product based company located in New Cairo 5th settlement, we are hiring a full time in-office Security Backend Developer.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement robust security frameworks for back-end systems using NestJS and AWS to prevent threats such as SQL injection, XSS, CSRF, and DDoS attacks.
Develop and enforce security best practices and coding standards, conducting regular code audits and reviews.
Set up and manage security protocols for server interactions, API access, and data transactions using encryption techniques like SSL/TLS and JWT.
Work with infrastructure teams to deploy security measures such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems in a cloud environment (AWS).
Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, using tools like OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, or custom scripts.
Liaise with compliance teams to ensure application adherence to legal and regulatory standards such as GDPR and HIPAA.
Requirements:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.Experienced in backend development with a focus on security aspects.Expertise in NestJS, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and AWS, with a strong understanding of security issues related to each.Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar certifications preferred.Experience with modern security practices, risk management, and mitigation strategies.Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to anticipate risk and make decisive recommendations.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
