• Conduct the first draft of the new businesses’ feasibility study and budget (equipment, material, handling tools, headcount, timeline).
• Work closely with procurement to obtain the needed equipment: issue a statement of request (SOR), technical and commercial comparison, supplier nomination, contract terms negotiations, and PR issuance.
• Assess the condition of the facility for any renovation or upgrade needs to achieve the new layout of the new production lines, customer special requirements, production capacity, and the applicable safety standards.
• Draft and maintain the new manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process workflow, and SOPs as per the customer’s demands.
• Gain the technical knowledge of the new product through a training by the customer to transfer that knowledge to the rest of the operations team.
• Monitor the implementation of developed SOP in a pilot operation for any optimization or modification and finalize station and product release with the customer before handing the project over to production.

Operations phase: 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production operations and timely delivery of products.
• Produce the Bill of Material (BOM) for each product and ensure its documentation on the internal system. 
• Constantly analyze operations workflow, resources, quality, cost, and productivity levels for continuous improvement and optimization in quality, timeline, and cost: time and motion studies, balanced throughput, customer complaints investigations, and Kaizen ideas validation.
• Conduct layer process audit (LPA) to assess operations activities against the approved SOP and 5S policy (Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) and perform safety tours to detect any ergonomic hazards. 
• Conduct root cause analysis and study corrective actions to resolve production issues and minimize downtime.
