Job Summary:
City Glass is seeking a dedicated and experienced QHSE Director to oversee and manage all aspects of quality, health, safety, and environmental operations.
The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards and drive continuous improvement in all QHSE areas.
Key Responsibilities:
·Develop, implement, and maintain QHSE policies and procedures.
·Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations and standards.
·Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to QHSE standards.
·Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.
·Provide training and awareness programs to employees on QHSE matters.
·Monitor and report on QHSE performance metrics.
·Collaborate with other departments to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
·Manage waste disposal and environmental protection initiatives.
·Ensure effective quality assurance and quality control processes are in place.
·Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.·Minimum of 15 years of experience in a similar role within an industrial setting; experience in the glass industry is preferred.·In-depth knowledge of QHSE regulations and standards.·Professional certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is highly desirable.·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.·Excellent communication and leadership abilities.·Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.·Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
