Job Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Contracts Engineer at Nile Developments. As a Senior Contracts Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Reviewing the ITT and preparing a list of requirements to address all contractual aspects, circulating it to involved departments.
Updating the risk register prepared during the tendering stage.
Reviewing the Conditions of Contract and responding to queries from the Engineer/Contractor relevant to the ITT and Conditions of the Contract.
Reviewing notices and addenda.
Preparing a list of financial arrangements items shown in the Contract Documents for top management.
Preparing a risk register based on identified risks and triggers from the Conditions of Contract.
Preparing subcontractor’s Contract documents.
Preparing or reviewing joint venture and consortium agreements (if applicable).

Reviewing all contractual letters in conjunction with the Engineer.
Reviewing Variation orders requests and contractual sections.
Reviewing and analyzing Notifications and particulars of claims.
Preparing the Contractual monthly progress report for top management.
Preparing periodic Contracts Addenda.
Following up and reviewing performance bonds, bank guarantees, and insurance policies renewals or extensions.
Ensuring Contractor(s) compliance with all project Conditions of Contract.
Ensuring proper closeout of projects as per the contract.
