Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Software Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software sales, specifically within the F&B industry, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. As a Senior Software Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales, building and maintaining client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets and expand our customer base. This includes setting short-term and long-term goals, identifying key market segments, and creating targeted approaches for each segment.
  • Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new business opportunities through various channels including cold calling, networking, referrals, and participation in industry events and trade shows.
  • Client Engagement: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the features and benefits of Simple Touch Software. This involves understanding client needs, tailoring presentations to address specific pain points, and effectively communicating the value proposition.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns and with the product development team to provide customer feedback and influence product enhancements. Ensure alignment in sales strategies and product offerings to meet market demands.
  • Sales Negotiation: Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for both the client and Simple Touch Software. Manage contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and terms of service agreements.
  • Sales Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to the management team. Track sales activities, pipeline status, and key performance metrics using CRM software.
  • Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and threats.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior sales team members, sharing best practices and providing support to help them achieve their targets.

Job Requirements:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Software, Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in software sales, preferably within the F&B industry. Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of ERP software and its applications in the F&B industry. Familiarity with the technical aspects of software deployment and integration.Sales Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.Customer Focus: Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels. Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to customer satisfaction.Self-Motivation: Highly self-motivated with a results-driven approach. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Zoho CRM, Salesforce) and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
