- Following up on the status of the equipment and machines in order to ensure a smooth production process
- Taking several samples of the product during different production phases to make sure that it complies with the needed standards.
- Calculating the production rate per line per hour to achieve ultimate utilization.
- Supervising the manufacturing processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner.
- Liaising with other engineers to develop plans that improve production, costs, and labor required.
- Diagnosing problems in the production line and providing recommendations.
- Establishing safety procedures and protocols that take the workers' well-being into account.
- Identifying, documenting, and reporting unsafe practices.
Bachelor's degree in engineering.Food or Beverage manufacturing experience
