To participate in the preparation of production and operations programmes in accordance with established production processes and methods, to directly supervise the preparation of operational plans for the management of production and manufacturing processes, the operation of machinery and equipment and the control of production lines, and to ensure the successful implementation of production plans and their conformity with required quantities and specifications. 

Main functions: 
To participate in the preparation of production programmes and manufacturing processes in accordance with specific production methods and methods, to follow up the implementation of plans and programmes and to ensure that they conform to the technical methods and specifications adopted in the production processes. 
Supervise all day-to-day industrial production processes and ensure that the most appropriate methods of exploiting available resources for the production of specific quantities of products are identified within specific quality specifications, duration and costs. 
Ensure effective coordination by all stakeholders for the purposes of determining the quantities of production and technical specifications required to meet clients ' and consumers ' wishes and provide added value and competitive advantage against competing products in domestic, regional or global markets. 
To monitor and direct the preparation of research and studies aimed at managing and developing production processes, increasing the quality of products and the efficiency of manufacturing processes, reducing the level of costs and time required for production and applying modern production principles aimed at increasing efficiency, reducing waste or damage and controlling stocks. 
To follow up on the latest developments and developments in industrial production matters and to guide their appropriate adoption, and to identify and ensure the availability of all the resources and materials necessary to carry out specialized work and activities in the most recent relevant methods and practices.
