Job Summary: 

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment in the glass processing plant. He will play a crucial role in minimizing downtime, optimizing efficiency, and ensuring the overall reliability of the plant's maintenance systems. The Maintenance Engineer will also actively participate in preventive maintenance activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

 Responsibilities: 

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks on machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure proper functioning.

 • Perform troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to address equipment malfunctions and breakdowns promptly.

 • Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.

 • Monitor equipment performance, analyze data, and identify trends to proactively address maintenance needs and optimize efficiency. 

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment maintenance history, and spare parts inventory. 

• Coordinate with external suppliers and contractors for equipment repairs, spare parts procurement, and technical support. 

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for maintenance personnel.

 • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance-related policies, procedures, and guidelines.

 • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, such as reliability-centered maintenance, process optimization, and cost reduction efforts.
