Supply Chain Manager

Job Summary:

This role is crucial for optimizing our supply chain operations and planning processes to ensure the efficient flow of goods and services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial environments, with a preference for those with a background in the glass industry

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage and coordinate all supply chain activities, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment of supply chain and planning activities with business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics providers.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Lead and mentor the supply chain and planning team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure continuity of supply chain operations.

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar leadership role.Mandatory work experience in an industrial environment.Preferred experience in the glass industry.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
