Operations Manager

  • Strategic Planning:

Develop and implement strategic plans in alignment with the company's objectives, similar to the strategic responsibilities of a Contracts Manager.

Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including service providers like hotels, airlines, and other tourism-related services.

  • Contract Management:

Work closely with the Contracts Manager to ensure that contracts support the company's goals and compliance requirements.

Review provider's contracts before the formal approval. 

Oversee the contract management process to ensure that all organizational contracts are managed and executed effectively.

  • Operations Oversight:

Manage the daily operations of the department, ensuring that all operational activities run smoothly and efficiently. and arrange the seasonal tour map.

Direct continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational processes and reduce costs.

  • Team Leadership:

Provide leadership and direction to the operations team, setting clear goals and expectations.

Ensure that staff are well-trained, motivated, and have the necessary tools to perform their duties.

  • Financial Management:

Review and Control costs for all operational budgets and expenses as per the financial policies.

  • Public Relations and Networking:

Attend networking events, conferences, and other relevant gatherings to promote the company and forge new business relationships.

  • Quality Assurance:

Ensure all operational activities comply with legal regulations and internal policies.

Ensure the Implementation of quality control protocols to maintain high service standards.

  • Reporting:

Report to the General Manager on the performance of the operations department, providing regular updates, insights, and recommendations.


Education: Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Travel & Tourism, business administration, or relevant field.Experience: Minimum 5 years experience operating at Senior Management or Director Level within the travel industry. Skills: Innovation and energy with a desire to drive others, Ability to present, persuade, and communicate effectively, results-oriented, Ability to create and manage sales strategies, promotions, etc., Possess strong leadership skills with excellent commercial and financial acumen, an analytical mind with strong negotiation skills, Demonstrable ability to solve problems and handle multiple tasks, Judgement and decision making.Knowledge: Basic understanding of maps, geography, and popular worldwide destinations, Knowledge of international travel regulations. Personal Characteristics:  Be a positive role model for all staff and lead by example, Rigorous, well organized, and self-motivated.
