Inbound Tourism Department Manager

Key Responsibilities:

- Relationship and Contract Handling:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers of hotels, transports, tour guides, and restaurants.
  • Maintain excellent contact with our existing travel agents and attract more business and partners by providing unique services.
  • Oversee the contracting process of all suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions for the company.

 

- Supervision of Department’s divisions Managers and Staff:

  • Work from the head office in Cairo and was responsible for the company branches in Hurghada and Sharm Elsheikh
  • Ensure that the company, policies, procedures, values, operational manual, workflow process, and team spirit are all implemented by every team member.
  • Led and mentor department managers, sales, operation, reservation, transport & representatives, and staff to ensure alignment with company quality, goals, and objectives.
  • Supervis operation of representatives, tour guides, restaurants, hotels, and local tourism authorities.
  • Work collaboratively to implement and execute departmental strategies.
  • Motivate the existing team and hire new qualified achievers.
  • Report directly to the General Manager and the Director of the company.

 

- Revenue and Statistics Management:

  • Monitor and analyze revenue streams and departmental statistics.
  • Implement strategies to optimize revenue and enhance departmental performance.

 

- Customer Service and Product Variety:

  • Ensure the delivery of the highest standard of customer service.
  • Diversify and enhance the product variety in alignment with market trends.

 

- Marketing and Promotions:

  • Oversee advertising and promotional activities on social media and various platforms.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure the best results of the marketing campaigns.
  • Represent the company at exhibitions and travel workshops in Egypt and overseas.

 

- Website Management and Administration:

  • Have the knowledge and understanding to mentor the website admin, developers, updates, security, content, SEO, and overall improvement.
  • Manage the daily operation of the company’s website functions and operations to ensure up-to-date and engaging content and sales
  • Coordinate with administration to streamline workflows.

 

- Software and Workflow Coordination:

  • Supervise the use of software tools within the company.
  • Organize workflow between different departments, with a focus on the inbound and accounting departments.

 

- Customer Follow-Up:

  • Maintain consistent communication with B2B and B2C customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Address customer concerns promptly and efficiently.
  • Keep accurate records to be used in staff training and business development.

The required qualifications:Proven experience in a managerial role within the travel and tourism industry.15 years or more experience as a Tourism Manager.Strong leadership and communication skills.Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.Knowledge of industry software and technology.Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.If you are a dynamic professional with a passion for the travel industry and possess the skills to drive success in an inbound department, we invite you to apply.
