Job Title: UX/UI Designer

Location: Cairo

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a talented and creative UX/UI Designer to join our design team.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user experience and user interface design, with a passion for creating intuitive and visually appealing digital products.
• You will work closely with our product, development, and marketing teams to create seamless and engaging user experiences for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

User Research and Analysis:

• Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
• Analyze research data to develop user personas, user journey maps, and use cases.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX/UI design.

Design and Prototyping:

• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Design high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes using tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Develop and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency across all products and platforms.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
• Present and defend design decisions and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback as necessary.
• Work closely with front-end developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and effectively.

Testing and Iteration:

• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to refine and improve designs.
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback, analytics, and business objectives.
• Ensure final products meet high standards of usability, accessibility, and performance.

Documentation and Handoff:

• Prepare and deliver detailed design specifications and assets for development.
• Document design guidelines and best practices to ensure a cohesive user experience across all touchpoints.
• Assist in the creation of user manuals, guides, and other support materials as needed.

HTML/CSS Development:

• Create responsive HTML pages using Bootstrap and CSS.
• Ensure web designs are accurately translated into functional web pages.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration of the design into the final product.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
• Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and process.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and advocate for the user experience.
• Proficiency in creating responsive HTML pages using Bootstrap and CSS.
• Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in motion design and animation.
• Knowledge of design thinking and lean UX methodologies.
• Understanding of web analytics and A/B testing.
