We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP and extensive experience with the Laravel framework. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our backend systems, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and secure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs using Laravel.
- Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize application performance, ensuring high responsiveness and seamless user experience.
- Implement and manage database structures, ensuring data consistency and integrity (MySQL).
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure coding standards and best practices are followed.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.
- Ensure the security and compliance of the application.
- Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on PHP and Laravel.Proficient in MySQL and database design.Experience with RESTful APIs and integration with third-party services.Experience with version control systems, such as Git.Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in the food and beverage industry or with applications similar to Foodics.Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevOps practices.Understanding of Agile methodologies.
