- Acting as the main site responsible person for the execution of the project.
- prepare and assign resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc., required for all related works prior to execution.
- Plans and analyses all possible construction methodologies and recommends the best options to Project.
- Manages directly and provide engineering and technical support to all workgroups at the site.
- Plans the execution of all related works and coordinates the works to other groups.
- Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
- Managing, monitoring and interpreting the site progress.
- Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors and the general workforce involved in the project.
- Coordinates with Client / Consultant’s representatives for any site instructions and inspection of works.
- Communicating with clients and their representatives, including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress.
- Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force.
- Prepare a monthly procurement and financial plan to determine the site needs for the upcoming month.
- Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
- Providing technical advice and solving problems on-site.
- Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork.
- Conduct estimated quantity survey to determine the quantity of material that need to be purchased or procured.
- Conduct the quantity surveying process to prepare required invoices.
- Prepare the subcontractors’ and client’s invoices based on the progress report sent by the site engineer.
- Prepare the construction method statements.
Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to the standard.
