We are looking for an IT Operations Manager to oversee the technology infrastructure and operational processes of our organization's IT department.

An IT Operations Managers will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the IT team, ensuring the availability and reliability of systems and networks, managing technology vendors, and implementing new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and productivity. They must ensure that the organization's IT policies and procedures are up to date and compliant with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the daily operations of the IT department and ensuring that systems and networks are running smoothly.
  • Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and processes to improve IT operations and increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Managing technology vendors and service providers to ensure that the organization's technology needs are met.
  • Evaluating and implementing new technologies and systems that improve IT infrastructure and support the Organization’s business goals .
  • Leading a team of IT professionals and providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their goals and objectives.
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of the organization's business needs and working closely with other departments to ensure that IT is aligned with those needs.
  • Ensuring that the organization's IT policies and procedures are up to date and compliant with industry standards and company regulations.
  • Managing the IT budget and ensuring that expenses are in line with the organization's financial goals
  • Keeping up to date with the latest industry trends  and developments in IT operations management.
  • Assess system performance  and recommend improvements
  • Provide support and guidance to stakeholders via help desk

 


Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT leadership position or a similar role, with proven experience in managing diverse IT teams.Certifications: Relevant certifications such as ITIL is a must PMP, VMware Certified, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CCNA, CCNP, cloud service certificates such as Azure, AWS are preferred.Skills:Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and support frameworks.Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex IT concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Presales experience is preferredFluent in English is a mustBuilding and maintaining profitable relationships with key customers.
