Accounting helps companies make important financial decisions. They collect, track, and document the company’s finances accurately and timely. They are responsible for performing financial audits, reconciling bank statements and verifying financial records throughout the year.
Job Description
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Publish accurate, complete financial statements on time
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments & bank reconciliations
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
Work experience as an Accountant is good to haveExcellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Hands-on experience with accounting software like OdooAdvanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tablesExperience with general ledger functionsStrong attention to detail and good analytical skillsBSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degreeAdditional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plusMost importantly, we are looking for young, passionate & eager to learn candidates
