Quality Assurance Manager (QA Manager)

Department: Quality Assurance
Reports to: Head of Business Support
Key Responsibilities:
 Formulate and review software-testing strategies.
 Manage software testing resources (Recruit, train, allocate and monitor).
 Review business requirements and provide inputs.
 Coordinate with other managers (Project Manager, Development Manager, etc) to ensure the highest level of software quality.
 Define the testing type and testing strategy based on the project nature and approve it from Development manager for the release/ project.
 Identify how his/her test team align with the organization and how his/her team would achieve the roadmap identified for the project and the organization.
 Identify the tools for test reporting, test management, test automation, and educate the team on how to use those tools.
 Participate in release planning activities (user story writing workshop, size estimation, dry run, release date).
 Analyze and prepare impact analysis for proposed change requests.
 Participate in the collection and documentation of user\'s requirements.
 Prepare testing work breakdown structure (WBS) for the user stories/ project.
 Prepare the effort estimation for testing task.
