Account Executive

Account Executive, directly engages with clients to understand their goals and determine how the company can meet those objectives. Here are the key responsibilities and skills associated with this role:

1. Understanding Client Needs:

  • Fully grasp the client’s requirements and assess whether the company’s products or services align with those needs.
  • Work closely with clients to ensure that expectations are met.

2. Lead Qualification and Prospecting:

  • Qualify inbound leads and prospects via phone and email.
  • Organize regular client meetings to provide excellent customer service.
  • Additionally, prospect new sales by cold calling businesses.

3. Sales Process Execution:

  • Hold virtual demonstrations with the goal of earning a prospect’s business.
  • Prepare and present proposals and bids.
  • Negotiating terms and conditions with clients is also part of their role.

4. Collaboration and Opportunity Identification:

  • Collaborate with key decision-makers to identify opportunities and develop ideas that drive sales results.
  • They uncover and understand a company’s unique needs.

5. Networking and Events:

  • Attend trade shows and host customer events to build relationships and expand the client base.



 


Proven experience as an Account Executive, or similar sales/customer service roleKnowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principlesOutstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software (eg. Salesforce) is a plusExcellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationshipsOrganizational and time-management skillsA business acumenEnthusiastic and passionateBSc or BA in business administration, sales or marketing
