- Work collaboratively with the Project Coordinator to support the cost estimation and control of sports construction projects
- Analyze project costs, including materials, labor, and equipment, and provide cost estimates for new projects
- Monitor project budgets and track actual costs against estimates, identifying and addressing variances as needed
- Work closely with the procurement team to ensure the cost-effective purchase of materials and equipment
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures, including invoicing, payment processing, and financial reporting
- Provide regular reports to the Operations Manager on project costs and budgets, including progress reports and cost variance analysis
- Collaborate with other teams within the organization to identify cost savings opportunities and implement cost reduction strategies
Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in cost engineering, and provide recommendations to senior management
