- Study the project documents including drawings, specifications, BOQ (Bill of Quantity), RFI (Request for information), correspondence…etc. to take into consideration all the project details during execution
- Prepare, submit and follow up the shop drawings, QS and as built drawings.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing and Firefighting design standards and codes
- Follow up the material submittals and all site including supervising, monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors to assure contract compliance
- Reviews shop drawings to ensure compliance specifications and contract agreements
- Hands-on experience in HVAC , Plumbing & Firefighting.
- Prepare RFI and send it to the project consultant to obtain missing information and resolve all conflicts.
- Assist in preparation of method of statement with Construction and Quality Control teams
- Provide technical assistance to other technicians as necessary.
- Supervising all site works and procedures.
- Prepare RFI'S and coordinate between mechanical works and other trades.
- Coordinate and supervise installation and maintenance by contractors or outside vendors for the development, replacement, and renovations.
- Carry out regular audits to confirm the continuity of the operation as agreed with the client and identify the major issues
- Assisting in setting the budget of the extra works
- Surveying sites ahead of fitting heating, ventilation or air conditioning systems
- Planning the placement of pipework, ducts and control panels
- Supervision & Monitoring of Installing HVAC , Plumbing & Firefighting components
- Performing quality checks to ensure systems are working efficiently and safely
- Finding and fixing faults
- Come up with solutions to help clients reduce their energy
