  • Provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems to ensure efficient & smooth utilization of technology serving the business need
  • Provide technical assistance to computer system users answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients in person, via telephone or from remote location. To ensure system availability & business continuity for users
  • Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications to minimize downtime & business distribution
  • Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software to ensure smooth onboarding process
  • Maintain records of daily issues, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities to identify proactive solution to issues & measure performance
  • Prepare evaluations of software or hardware, and recommend improvements or upgrades to cope with latest technologies
  • Ensure the availability and functionality of all IT Infrastructure Systems. This includes planning, designing, installing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing network/server hardware, software, and communication links to ensuring minimal downtime & business continuity
  • Provide server administration and management for virtual and physical servers. This includes remote installation, diagnosis, repair, maintenance, and upgrade of hardware and software to ensure optimal performance and minimal down time.
  • Provision storage solutions, maintain backup jobs to develop backup policies and data recovery procedures to ensure save guarding of data as well as integrity & privacy

  Bachelor degree in engineering (computer/communication).  Cisco Systems Certification is an added plus.  Minimum 4-6 years of experience in system administration in a creative business. environment.  Proficiency in Windows.  Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
