- Receive, inspect, and record all incoming materials and supplies.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory records using appropriate software or manual systems.
- Maintain organized storage areas and ensure proper labeling of materials.
- Monitor stock levels and anticipate supply needs to prevent shortages.
- Coordinate with procurement and construction teams to fulfill material requests in a timely manner.
- Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for replenishing stock.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
- Dispose of obsolete or damaged materials according to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the storage areas.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials as needed.
- Follow all relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines.
Proven experience as a Storekeeper or similar role in the construction industry.Bachelor degree /High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in supply chain management or a related field is a plus.Excellent knowledge of inventory management and control procedures.Familiarity with construction materials, tools, and equipment.Strong organizational and time management skills.Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Proficiency in using inventory management software or MS Excel.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.Physical stamina to handle the demands of a construction site environment.
