Supply management:
· Procure materials and ensuring they meet quality standards, cost-effective and from reliable suppliers.
· Negotiate pricing and contract terms with suppliers to achieve optimal procurement costs.
· Collaborate with the purchasing team to maintain appropriate balancing supply and demand effectively.
Stock Management:
· Conduct regular inventory audits to verify stock accuracy and identify any discrepancies for resolution.
· Utilize inventory data analysis techniques to forecast demand accurately, adjusting procurement plans accordingly to meet customer needs.
In general:
· Create the company’s supply chain strategy
· Foster strong relationships with key suppliers and ensuring reliable supply chain performance.
· Address any supplier performance issues promptly, implement corrective actions to maintain smooth operations.
· Collaborate with suppliers on process improvement initiatives and cost-saving strategies, driving efficiency throughout the supply chain.
· Engage with sales and production teams to understand demand patterns and develop demand plans based on market trends and customer requirements.
· Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover and fill rates to assess supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
· Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain (e.g. use of trucks, forklifts)
· Train and guide employees
· Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes
· Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents)
· Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Foreign trade, Business administration, · Proven experience in Metal Supply, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment. · Proven experience in Import-export · Working experience of relevant software (e.g. SAP MM) or any relevant preferable · Excellent organizational and project management skills · Attention to detail · Creative problem-solving
