Responsibilities for Electrical Designer

• Review and process construction for project design submittals and ensure forms as per existing standards, prepare shop drawings according to ongoing site works.
• Requires broad training, education, and experience in design, analysis, report writing, oral presentations, and client relations.
• Interfaces with clients at a technical and contract level.
• Makes independent decisions on design problems and methods.
• May be assigned to check the work of others.
• Applies skills to minimize risks and vulnerabilities and seeks means to improve efficiencies and reduce costs.
• Reviews and approves all work performed under his supervision.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with all codes and standards.
• Supervises the preparation and checks the accuracy of contract documents (for Electric).
• Incorporates applicable codes, construction techniques and sequences in various projects including all aspects of cross disciplines (for Electric).

Qualifications for Electrical Designer

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in design.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
• Solid networking and interpersonal skills
• Creative thinking skills and ability to solve problems
• Fluent in English
• Capable of providing leadership and motivation to a team that is performing a sequence of tasks in order to meet milestones.
