This role is responsible for the assigned project schedules and performs schedule development, maintenance and monitoring of the planning/scheduling activities and raise flags & recommend corrective actions for critical projects.

Technical Duties

Tendering phase:

• Assist with reviewing/modifying tentative time schedule for bid. Also identifies the critical activities in the Tentative Time Schedule, and identifies potential risks that may affect the tender pricing/awarding.
• Reviewing all required information regarding the project from the TN, and communicating it to the Project Team as applicable.
• Awarded Projects' Execution Phase
• Responsible for reviewing/modifying recovery and crashed schedules when needed.
• As the work flows, identify prospect claims.
• Support in variations.

• Detailed Baseline schedules
• Cash flow (in close coordination with the Finance & contracts departments)
• P&L report 
• Ensure baseline Schedules do reflect legal approvals and permits by the Client, mobilization, engineering approvals, procurement activities, construction, etc...).
• Responsible for reviewing/modifying the updated status of cost and time performance of the project, notifying the of Planning  of any prospect issues to be raised with the Client regarding claims for changes in cost, design, specifications, scope of works, time schedule, to relevant disciplines.
• Responsible for reviewing/modifying weekly schedule updates and look-ahead schedules (or as may be otherwise dictated by the Contract) based upon the relation between the actual work progress reflected and the required targets to be achieved for the forthcoming period, to be attached to the weekly report.
• Support in identifying the root causes behind delays and cost overruns, and to accordingly formulate recovery schedules to control the delay.
