Requirements & Responsibilities
- Strong experience with Javascript and jQuery to support interactivity in sites and apps (2+ years experience)
- Strong experience with Meteor (1+ year experience) https://www.meteor.com/
- Design and develop rapid prototypes of 5/CSS3/JQuery, front-end code across a broad array of interactive web and mobile projects.
- Develop, test and implement high-end performance web UIs across multiple browsers, platforms, and devices, including smartphones and tablets.
- Able to create complex UI using 5, CSS3 and Javascript that works on multiple interfaces and environment.
- First-hand knowledge of user-centered design principles, and UI design practices and methodologies.
- Experience with graphic development software (Photoshop, Illustrator etc.)
- Experience designing for mobile platforms
- Familiar with git and github
- Strong sense of web design and attuned to the fundamentals of user experience, including accessibility
- (Desirable) Experience with web libraries and frameworks such as Backbone, Angular, Ionic, Bootstrap, Jquery, or Ember, and CSS pre- processing frameworks (such as Sass or Less)
- Ability to operate design tools such as Sketch, Illustrator, Inkscape etc.
- Ability to work as part of a team - both in the context of the Development team, as well as with the greater organisation as a whole
- Self-motivated and work well under pressure
