Job Details

  • Review daily Safety Inspection Reports (SIR) and Permit to Operate Status (POS) reports, identify critical findings, and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions. 

  • Evaluate all new activities, projects, or tasks planned within the factory and conduct the necessary Risk Assessments. Initiate and coordinate the Management of Change (MOC) process, obtain the required approvals, and issue work permits before commencement of any work. 

  • Review and monitor the completion of Safety Gap Analysis action plans across all plant departments to ensure compliance with company standards and legal requirements. 

  • Conduct monthly reviews of safety compliance activities, including: 

  • Factory license renewals 

  • Civil Defense permits and certifications 

  • Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) compliance requirements 

  • Periodic medical examinations for employees 

  • Lead and conduct investigations of safety incidents, near misses, and NERMIS-reported cases, identify root causes, and ensure implementation of corrective actions. 

  • Plan, organize, and deliver weekly safety awareness and training programs for both existing and newly hired employees. 

  • Review and monitor the daily issuance of workforce permits and contractor work authorizations to ensure compliance with safety requirements. 

  • Coordinate with contractors and service providers responsible for safety-related maintenance activities, including: 

Fire alarm systems 

Firefighting equipment 

Safety devices and systems 

  • Identification and correction of safety hazards that may impact employee safety or operational productivity 

  • Conduct regular and surprise safety inspections and audits during weekends and non-working hours to verify compliance with established safety procedures. 

  • Ensure continuous compliance with ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System requirements and support internal and external audits. 

  • Lead and coordinate all external visits to the plants, including customer audits, governmental inspections, and regulatory authority visits, ensuring all required safety documentation is prepared and available. 

  • Supervise and oversee all safety activities and initiatives across the company's three manufacturing plants to ensure a safe and compliant working environment. 

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree is preferable in science or Engineering or a diploma or Masters in Safety     

  • Experience: From 5 to 7 Years  

  • Language: Arabic and English
